RE'09 is an excellent opportunity for students to meet and talk with leading experts in the field of Requirements Engineering, both from academia and industry. Being a student volunteer is also a great way to meet other students from all over the world and to offset some of the costs of the conference.
We strongly encourage students to become involved in the RE conference Student Volunteer program. Our student volunteers are vital to the smooth operation and continued success of the RE conference each year.
Requirement and Responsibilities
- Student volunteers typically assist with sessions, panels and posters, check badges at doors, help operate the registration desk, help with traffic flow, and provide general assistance to keep the conference running smoothly.
- Some student volunteers will also be needed the day before the conference starts for preparation work (Monday, August 28th).
- The workload is only indicative, as it depends on a number of factors.
Free conference registration, free admission to tutorials and workshops, and a copy of the conference proceedings. While free admission to these events includes lunches and coffee-breaks, welcome reception and banquet are not included.
